History:

2007-2020:

WineGirl Wines was founded by winemaker Angela Jacobs, whose passion for science and wine began long before she ever bottled her first vintage. With degrees in biochemistry and cell & molecular biology, Angela worked harvests around the world before returning home to Washington to create something uniquely her own. In 2007, she crushed her first grapes under the WineGirl Wines label — a name inspired by a nickname from a close friend — producing a small batch of just 100 cases.

Drawn to the beauty and winemaking potential of the Lake Chelan Valley, Angela opened the WineGirl Wines tasting room in Manson in 2010, where hot summer days and cool evening breezes create the perfect balance for expressive Washington wines. The tasting room, affectionately called The Blending Room, reflects her belief that great wine should be both serious in craftsmanship and joyful in experience.

WineGirl Wines quickly gained recognition for its playful, vintage-inspired PinUp labels and bold, handcrafted wines. Behind each bottle lies Angela’s philosophy — that wine tells a story of the vineyard, the climate, and the people who bring it to life. While the labels are fun and approachable, the wines themselves are crafted with care and precision, showcasing varietals like Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Malbec, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc sourced from some of Washington’s finest vineyards.

Over the years, WineGirl Wines has evolved into one of Manson’s most beloved tasting destinations. The winery expanded its production, added outdoor seating and live music, and became known for its welcoming, family- and pet-friendly atmosphere. In 2016, Todd Link, a former Navy air traffic controller and locomotive engineer, joined the team, helping to grow the winery’s community presence and operations.

2020-2025:

In 2020, Kelli and Adam Rynd joined the WineGirl Wines journey, investing in the dream and becoming owners, with Todd Link. Together, they began to explore and understand the wine industry in a deeper way, bringing fresh energy, business insight, and a shared passion for what makes WineGirl Wines so special. Their involvement helped strengthen the brand’s foundation while honoring the creative spirit on which it was built.

2025-Present:

In September 2025, Kelli and Adam Rynd took full ownership of WineGirl Wines, marking an exciting new chapter for the brand. The transition also brought change — the doors to the well-known Manson location were closed, and Todd Link announced plans to transform the former space into a sports bar and pool hall, set to open in January 2026.

Under the Rynds’ ownership, WineGirl Wines began to blossom into a new era — one where sipping meets shopping. The vision combines the charm of boutique retail with the relaxed enjoyment of fine wine, creating a lifestyle experience true to the WineGirl spirit.

Today, WineGirl Wines continues to thrive in new and exciting ways:

·       The Leavenworth location, known as Stella’s Boutique + Wine Bar at 217 8th St #11, remains a hidden gem where guests can shop the latest styles while enjoying a beautiful glass of wine.

·       The main WineGirl Wines tasting room will open in January 2026 inside Lake Life Boutique at 146 E. Woodin Ave, Lake Chelan, offering a fresh and stylish lakeside tasting experience.

·       A third location will open in Ellensburg, WA, at Stella’s Western Boutique, 114 W. 4th Ave #201, bringing the WineGirl charm to central Washington.

Each location will have its own unique personality, but the iconic PinUp girls — the playful, confident symbol of the brand — will continue to represent the heart and story of WineGirl Wines

Matt Loso is a seasoned winemaker and the creative force behind The Winemakers Reserve in Woodinville, Washington. With decades of experience in the Washington wine industry, Matt has built a reputation for his craftsmanship, innovation, and dedication to quality.

Founded in 2017, The Winemakers Reserve stands as a state-of-the-art winemaking facility, tasting room, and event venue in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country. Under Matt’s leadership, it has become a cornerstone of the community, blending modern technology with traditional winemaking values. In addition to managing The Winemakers Reserve, Matt is also the proprietor of Matteo Wines, his personal label that highlights his distinctive vision for Washington varietals.

Matt’s winemaking philosophy centers on authenticity and a deep respect for the vineyard. He believes great wines begin in the vineyard and strives to let each site express its unique character through thoughtful fermentation, aging, and minimal intervention. His approach results in wines that are both refined and expressive of their origin.

Through The Winemakers Reserve, Matt has created more than a production space—it is a destination for wine lovers and a gathering place for the community. His entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise have helped shape the identity of Woodinville’s thriving wine scene, offering guests an immersive experience that reflects both innovation and tradition.
